Stepping’ out summer

As I wrote a little while back on The Trend Tribe, I quit on shorts.
Right after I said that I found a decent pair at Ann Taylor Loft.
But, I was lucky enough to also get some lovely dresses for this summer.
I’ve never been a huge dress fan. Such a tomboy, but I can’t do jeans and my beloved long cardigan anymore, so goodbye till October, my dears.

I so dig this dress and would never have taken it off the hanger, thank you sweet sales lady to hook me up when I was out with my mom. I’ve never had anything leopard not leopard-colored and it feels good.

And that new customer discount with the store card? The best.

Also? Got me a new makeup for summer. I love it. It a little pink pot by MAC and it’s just almost too pink for me.
Which makes it perfect, right?

And I can live vicariously through the name until my own ‘Weekend Getaway’ in October.
