Running the bases

We are big Angels fans.

Which is funny because, even though I am a fan, beats me what the names of anyone are.

It’s like all of those songs I love on the radio. Don’t know what the words are, but I love them.

Details, details.

I love going to Angels games, getting one of the brisket dogs and just hanging out in the stands.

We were lucky enough to have parking provided but I realized I didn’t really know where.

Well, pull up to the fanciest line and she was nice enough to let us park here.

Seriously, my car is right behind me.

It was a totally blessing both ways- Wonder Boy was so excited to be there, and on the way back I was exhausted from chasing him around the stadium.

Our seats were right above the Family Sunday area, where I went up and down a lot with Wonder Boy.

I not only had to share my beloved brisket dog, I hardly did any hanging out watching the game.

Mr. Wonder sat and watched the entire game. I got to sit at our seats for less than 2 innings since I was too busy winning a free ‘balance bracelet’ and stopping Wonder Boy from using the entire yellow squirt bottle of paint at the spin art station… and everything else.

It got so hot some of us took over the corner of a restaurant for some quality AC time.

Oh yeah, I was with Marcie (aka @suburbanmama) Jamie (@JamieGall1930) Erin (@HorsingAroundLA) who I all knew from SoCal Lady Bloggers, and I met Justin (@BigHeadAsian) and MaryAnne (@maryannewendt) Sunday. It was a blast getting to talk to some of my favorite people.

Also- MaryAnne’s little daughter loves boys, my son loves girls. It became a win-win situation.

The Angels stadium now has these fan photographers that come and take your picture all the time- I had to start turning them away because there were so many people asking if we wanted one- Wonder Boy was looking especially adorable that day in his beloved hat and a pair of Angels overalls.

After the game was over Wonder Boy run the bases.

It was a huge proud moment.

Like paparazzi parents snapping away while beaming moment.

Thanks to Jamie from Minnesota Girl in LA for hooking me up with these next two photos.

He is still telling people how he ‘won’ playing baseball because he crossed home plate.

I mean, how cute is that!

The Smile Generation, who was awesome and invited me to the game, is having a giveaway for some Batman Live tickets! Check out facebook.com/smilegen and click on the Batman Giveaway App to enter to win a 4-pack of tickets to Batman Live at the Honda Center.

My son’s dentist is a Smile Generation dentist and we love her. They are an awesome resource for finding dentists and they loved hearing about my son’s first visit.

Smile Generation was kind enough to provide tickets to the game.  The Smile Generation is a proud sponsor of the following teams: Angels, Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Sacramento Rivercats, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Sugar Land Skeeters, and Lake Elsinore Storm. The Smile Generation connects you with great dentists.

All opinions are my own.
