Yesterday we got to take the celebrating spirit with us to the Citizen’s Business Bank Arena in Ontario to check out the Disney on Ice Show “Let’s Celebrate!”
No matter what the reason, I love to celebrate – from birthdays, holidays or a week’s work done.
This Disney on Ice show definitely incorporates the party spirit with several songs that were not holiday-centered, but reasons to gather together and party!
Boh of the boys came again this year, as Lil’ Wonder can have quite the attention span when interested. He made i through a good third of the show, so those with toddlers – still probably your best bet to find a sitter, unless you want to bribe them into staying in one place with a light-up toy.
At the beginning of the show there is encouragement to take pictures o the show and dance to your favorite songs – I let Wonder Boy have free reign as long as he wasn’t annoying the neighbors, but most families kept their children seated.
My son sat with a program open, waiting for the luau segment to start, and wasn’t disappointed with the torches and limbo pole.
I loved the liberal sprinkling of Mulan in there – featured twice in the show.
They also did the Valentine’s segment to “That’s How You Know” my favorite favorite princess song ever and from my favorite princess movie
As a boy mom I love the wide variety of characters featured. Yes, there was a definite princess presence featured in the Valentine’s segment, but other than that it was a show any little kid would love, with everyone from Pinnochio and Mowgli to Buzz and Woody!
