Walking with Dinosaurs

Mr. Wonder has had a schedule change and is now home on Mondays.
Now he and Wonder Boy have a new thing to add onto their things they do- he goes and picks him up, and has helped drop him off.
It gives me more time at home that I’m not prepping the baby for going downtown to get his brother, and having to stop what I’m doing.
They have a lot of things to do together, and talk about together. Baseball. Cars. Wrestling on the floor.
But mine and Wonder Boy’s thing has always been dinosaurs.
At his age I could name many of them. i had a big book full of names and Wonder Boy has a similar book to look through.
Since he started feeling sick Monday we threw in our newest DVD Walking With Dinosaurs.
I’ve always screened the educational films on dinosaurs we found on Netflix because some were rather grim and sometimes a little too gory for a 4 year old. But this movie has all of the drama while cutting down on the morbidity of creatures that were constantly hunting or being hunted.
And some of the scenes were amazing.
My four-year-old self loved this as much as he did.
